Waterboarding Is A Kiddie Ride Compared To This

by Gordon Taylor

From the AP we get a story of the discovery of a Al - Qaida tourture center NE of Baghad.

"We discovered several (weapons) caches, a torture facility that had chains, a bed — an iron bed that was still connected to a battery — knives and swords that were still covered in blood as we went in to go after the terrorists in that area," said Army Maj. Gen. Mark P. Hertling, the top U.S. commander in northern Iraq.

In addition to the tourture chamber, they also found a mass grave:

The military said it thinks the site was run by al-Qaida in Iraq, and it was found based on tips from local Iraqis. Graves containing 26 bodies were found nearby.

How many mass graves have been uncovered in Gitmo or other facilities used to interogate alledged terrorists?

I am not equating the United States military with al-Qaida, not by any stretch of the imagination. I am just saying, "War is horrible, in all it's colors" and based on what our humanitarians have discovered in Iraq, Africa and else where, waterboarding is like a kiddie ride at the carnival. We ought not sink to the level of these degenerates, but come on, we have a right to extract information from the enemy. I'm just sayin'
