Larijani Back From Russia With A New Deal

Iran's chief nuclear negotiator, Ali Larijani, has just returned from Russia with a fresh idea, let Russia enrich Uranium for them. Wait a minute, didn't we hear this from our POTUS about a year ago? Didn't the deal fall apart?

Read the ABC news story here.... The article will read that Russia will make a proposal to resume the talks from last year, which means it's already a done deal, they are just looking for a UN stamp of approval.

With new power in Congress, I guess now it sounds like a viable alternative. Read that as "Russia helps Iran circumvent the UN sanctions."

The proposal put forth originally by President Bush was to have Russia enrich the yellow cake to fuel grade gas for energy, about 5% enrichment.

But, what is to stop Russia from enriching to 30%, the strength needed for small nuclear reactors, such as those on a naval ship. Would that be OK? After all, we made it for ourselves, but had some left over and sent it to Iran, is that OK Speaker Pelosi? Sure Vladimir, no problem.

The Iran would be 1/3 the way to weapons grade, 90% and it would cut months off of the cycle.

Or oops, we accidently sent the wrong package, we sent 90%. Silly I know, but who would know if they did or not?

Iran Installing 3,000 More Centrifuges

TEHRAN, Nov. 12 (MNA) – Iranian experts and officials plan to install 3000 centrifuges by the end of the year under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini told reporters at his weekly press briefing on Sunday. You may read elsewhere that this is accordence with the IAEA and under their supervision. Why would they need 3,000 more when they have 50,000 underground? To continue their schrade of attempting to comply with the worlds wishes.

Ahmadinejad Calls For UN Alternative

Tehran - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Sunday called on Asian states to seek an alternative to the United Nations for resolving world conflicts. Full Story here...

After blasting the UN earlier, Ahmadinejad is calling on his new found friendship with Asain Nations (see earlier post) to dump the UN and come over to his side.

China Building Light Truck Factory in Iran
